Dr Saurabh Kwatra, a TRIZ Level 4 Expert, is an inventive step amplifier and innovative designer to tech-based start-ups. His book titled, ‘Trimming, Miniaturization & Ideality via Convolution Technique of TRIZ’ published by Springer Germany 2012 is widely read. He was Specialized Mentor, MIT Summer Launch 2015, Massachusetts Institute of Technology where he guided young budding entrepreneurs from beginning till end: rough sketch to proof of concept to embodiment design to prototype to manufactured product to commercial profit. Projects included a car parked in scorching Sun cooled by pumping relatively cooler air from beneath of car (ambient temperature) unto roof of the car with mist added & inverted umbrella coated with light sensitive film mounted to become a laptop charging station. He was invited Friday Buns Speaker (Jan 2016) at Institute for Manufacturing, University of Cambridge on ‘Non-routine design & manufacturing techniques needed for highly convoluted products’ ; Visiting Faculty, Industrial Design Center, Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay, Mumbai (2012) ; Guest Faculty, IDD Center, IIT Delhi (2014) ; Specialist Speaker at Make in India: Innovative Design Program, IIT Delhi (Dec 2015) ; Lecturer (TRIZ) at High Technology Management Summer School, Samara (2016). He is presently running International Innovations with projects in Russia, Europe, India & Hong Kong (China) and also receiving training for TRIZ Level 5 (TRIZ Master).
